A. J. was born in Salina, Kansas on January 13, 1990.
He is currently in his Senior year at Salina Central High School and will graduate in May of 2008.
Both of A.J.'s parents attended Salina Central High School and were graduates of the 1980 class. A.J.'s father
also played for the Mustangs, while his mother was involved in the vocal music program at Salina Central.
A. J. plays football for the Mustangs in the Fall and started every varsity game as a sophmore and a junior. He
played outside linebacker as a sophmore and inside linebacker as a junior and senior.
A. J. also plays baseball for the Mustangs in the Spring. He started on some of the varsity games as a freshman
and all varsity games as a sophmore and junior. A. J. plays three different positions with the Mustangs - catcher,
first base, or right out fielder.
In the summer months A. J. plays baseball for the Post 62 American Legion Falcons team. The Falcons are
the 2007 Ks. State Champions. A. J. plays two different positions with the Falcons - catcher or first base.
A.J. signed on Feb. 5th with Kansas Wesleyan University to play football and baseball for the Coyotes. A.J.
plans are becoming a teacher and a coach, with a long term goal of becoming an Athletic Director.
A. J. also enjoys bowling, fishing, hunting, racing, and spending time with his family and friends.
